We are seeking to recruit for our client who is an independent, multi-asset investment management firm offering an assortment of financial services to a diverse institutional, high net worth and retail clientele base. Our client builds a world class investment banking firm of African origin.

We are recruiting to fill the position below for our client.


Job Summary

To support clients in securing optimal financing solutions for their projects by providing in-depth financial analysis, structuring advice, and strategic recommendations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, updating, and maintenance of detailed financial models for debt structuring, project finance, and valuation
  • Oversee sensitivity analysis, scenario planning, and risk assessment to evaluate financing structures and terms
  • Conduct comprehensive financial due diligence, market research, and benchmarking to assess project viability
  • Drive the structuring of optimal debt solutions and capital-raising strategies, including private debt, term loans, and syndicated finance
  • Lead negotiations with lenders and stakeholders to secure favourable financing terms for clients
  • Supervise the preparation of term sheets, presentations, and documentation for debt advisory and financing proposals
  • Conduct in-depth market and industry research to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in project finance and debt markets
  • Monitor economic indicators, financial markets, and industry developments to provide insights for client projects and financing strategies
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk management frameworks
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to maintain accurate documentation and ensure due diligence standards are met

Desired Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (not less than Second Class Upper or its equivalent)
  • Master's degree (e.g., MBA, MSc Finance) is an added advantage
  • Professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA or CFA are highly desirable
  • Minimum of at least 7 years experience in financial analysis, financial planning and related role compulsory from a top-tier bank or big 4
  • Proven experience with financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting is required
  • Demonstrated ability to drive financial performance, and execute strategic initiatives
