Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Customer Acquisition & Marketing: Identifying, prospecting, and onboarding new customers for savings, fixed deposits, and loan products, often through active field marketing.
- Deposit Mobilization: Driving savings and current account growth to meet assigned weekly/monthly deposit targets.
- Loan Origination & Processing: Sourcing loan applicants, collecting required documentation, and guiding clients on loan terms.
- Credit Analysis & Risk Monitoring: Conducting basic credit assessments, evaluating client creditworthiness, and conducting field visits to verify business premises to minimize risk.
- Relationship Management: Maintaining and enhancing relationships with existing clients to ensure retention and secure referrals.
- Loan Recovery & Portfolio Quality: Monitoring loan repayments and following up on delinquent loans to ensure a healthy, low-risk portfolio.
- Reporting & Compliance: Preparing and submitting daily/weekly sales reports, ensuring proper KYC (Know Your Customer) compliance during customer onboarding.
Requirements and Competencies
- Education/Experience: Usually requires an OND, HND, or BSc in Marketing, Banking & Finance, or related fields, often with 1-3 years of sales experience.
- Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a target-driven mindset.
